For this 2014 film we created multiple effects for and among them were these infections makeup caused by the Grievers. The Grievers were biomechanical robots with stingers on their tail. When they stung a victim an infection that started simple escalates quickly.

Jason, Mike and the crew at Autonomous have been, and continue to be, excellent partners in creating the world of Stan Against Evil. And when I say obscure stuff like, “It should have sort of a Paul Blaisdell feel,” they instantly know what I’m talking about.
