During this phase of the process we design the prosthetics through sculpture. The trick with Jeff Bauman’s amputation is that it was above the knee. The sculpture needed to start mid thigh so that we can get the proper anatomy of the post amputation look. We took a great amount of care to base these sculpts as close to real life as possible.
